Here are a few important tips to write impactful answers in your cbse board exams as shared by an expert..

1. MAKE USE OF THE EXTRA 15 MINUTES PROVIDED

Category 1 – Very confident
Category 2 – Somewhat confident
Category 3 – Not confident

2. ATTEMPT QUESTIONS IN THE RIGHT ORDER

3. underline important words, 4. answer only one question in ‘or’ questions, 5. maintain clarity and neatness.

Whenever you need to cut a word or an answer, just draw a line with your pen over that text/word. Avoid scribbling or scratching as it will make your answer sheet look messy and unclean.

6. WRITE TO-THE-POINT AND PRECISE ANSWERS

Write precise and concise answers to the questions. Writing irrelevant answers will not help you gain scores. It also increases the chances of making more mistakes in your answers and wasting your time.

Try to maintain the word limit, which means practicing how many points should be written for 2 marks, 3 marks, 4 marks, and 5 marks.

Mathematics: Students often mention all the steps in their calculation but do not present them well. This leads to invigilators not understanding the sequence of the steps or they miss out some steps while checking the paper. This may lead to loss of marks unnecessarily. Use the last page for your workings and mention ‘Rough Work’ on top of the page.
Graphs: While attempting graph questions, make sure to write all the details in the graph as needed and write the question number on top of the graph paper. Write the scale and mention the x and y axis.
Statistics: Draw neat tables using a scale and pencil while attempting questions from statistics.
Science: While attempting the science exam, note the formulae and calculations clearly for numerical problems. Pay special attention to proportionality in diagrams and label them clearly to achieve maximum marks.
Languages: For language exams, structure your answers for analytical questions, value-based questions, and letter-writing into 3 paragraphs – Introduction, body and conclusion.
Units: Write the units for each of the answers and steps. Do not change the units if the same is not mentioned in the question paper.

7. ATTEMPT ALL QUESTIONS

Since there is no negative marking, try attempting all the questions. Always mention the formula and all relevant steps while answering any numerical-based question.

The Israeli military said Sunday that it killed another high-ranking Hezbollah official in an airstrike as the Lebanese militant group was reeling from a string of devastating blows and the killing of its overall leader, Hassan Nasrallah.

The military said Nabil Kaouk, the deputy head of Hezbollah's Central Council, was killed on Saturday. There was no immediate comment from Hezbollah, and it was not known where the strike took place.

Several senior Hezbollah commanders have been killed in Israeli strikes in recent weeks, including founding members of the group who had evaded death or detention for decades and were close to Nasrallah himself.

Hezbollah has also been targeted by a sophisticated attack on its pagers and walkie-talkies that was widely blamed on Israel. A wave of Israeli airstrikes across large parts of Lebanon has killed at least 1,030 people — including 156 women and 87 children — in less than two weeks, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry.

Hundreds of thousands of people have been driven from their homes in Lebanon by the latest strikes. The government estimates that around 250,000 are in shelters, with three to four times as many staying with friends or relatives, or camping out on the streets, Environment Minister Nasser Yassin told The Associated Press.

Hezbollah has continued to fire rockets and missiles into northern Israel, but most have been intercepted or fallen in open areas, causing few casualties and only scattered damage.

Kaouk was a veteran member of Hezbollah going back to the 1980s and served as Hezbollah's military commander in southern Lebanon during the 2006 war with Israel. He often appeared in local media, where he would comment on politics and security developments, and he gave eulogies at the funerals of senior militants. The United States had announced sanctions against him in 2020.

Hezbollah has said it will only halt its rocket fire if there is a cease-fire in Gaza, which has proven elusive despite months of indirect negotiations between Israel and Hamas led by the United States, Qatar and Egypt.
