  1. How hard is it to become a professors in Philosophy

    Especially philosophy departments. Tenure is soon becoming a thing of the past in all departments. So life as a philosophy professor today is very rough. The only people who seem to maybe do well are the ones who get a PhD from Oxford or Cambridge AND have excellent reference letters from well-known philosophers.
