The rapid expansion in business and management schools and MBA graduate numbers, it is important to understand whether and how management education makes better managers. In line with maintaining the value and quality of the MBA qualification, this study describes how MBA graduates use the theoretical knowledge and skills to gain competitive advantage in their work environments. And also gives an insight on the question that if really this education enhances the performance of employee at work place. The study is conducted at Kigali city with 114 respondents and correlation analysis is used to test the hypothesis. The researcher hopes that study will give some important insight on the usefulness of MBA degree in enhancing the performance of employee.

The market of organic products is growing as the number of people willing to consume organic food and consumer preference towards organic food products is ever increasing. The promotion of organic food products constitutes an important option not only for producers, government and consumers but also to respond to societies‘ desire for higher food quality and food production that is less damaging to environment systems and improve the quality of life; this makes the study of consumer preferences highly important. The main purpose of this study is to identify the factors influencing consumer preferences toward organic products. The target population in this research includes consumers of Kozhikode district of Kerala state of India. By making use of convenience sampling method 750 respondents have been selected. Data required for the study have been collected with the help of questionnaire. The finding of the research work revealed that gender, age, occupation, monthly income, family status, level of awareness, state of health and environmental engagement are associated with consumer preference towards organic foods. The research work shows increasing monthly income and environment engagement activities influences consumer preference towards organic food products. There is an inverse relationship between consumer awareness and consumer preferences towards organic food. Organic food considered as healthy product and it is more preferred by the green consumers. The research result suggest that Government and social organizations have to promote organic farming at the households among general public and to take necessary steps for creating a regulatory system for authenticated organic certification and labeling in order to build-up the trust and confidence in consuming organic food products.

The employees are considered as a highly mobile and dynamic factor for any organization and the performance of the employees are affected by their state of mind. Training and development has great impact on the employees which help them to improve their attitude, knowledge and skills which in turn boost their morale and consequently the productivity. The present work could analyzed the effectiveness of training and development programme of the organization, Dinesh foods, Kannur and could assess that the organization followed an effective training programme to its employees which helped them to perform their tasks efficiently. More than 80% of the employees were found satisfied with the existing on job training programme of the company. According to them, training and development programmes helped them to reduce the absenteeism by increasing job satisfaction, morale and performance level. It was also suggested that training helped them to improve the personality development of employees to some extent. The Spearman’s rank correlation analysis established that there was strong positive correlation between effectiveness of trainers of the present training programmes and the personality development of the employees of the organization Similarly, strong positive correlation was established between satisfaction level of employees with existing training programme and improvements in productivity and efficiency of the company. The Chi square analysis revealed that there existed no significant association between gender of the employees and satisfaction level of training programme. Based on the study , some strategic measures were also suggested for the further development of the organization.

Professional Accounting Institutions are always directed through policy reforms to promote professionals employability by developing student’s career path by improving their skills that contribute to human capital. Contributing to that this research investigates the expectation-performance gap in the development of generic skills development of generic skills for the purpose of the career success of the professional accounting students from the perspective of employers and the educators of the CA Sri Lanka students. This research, adopted the theoretical framework of ‘expectation-performance gap’ by Bui and Porter (2010). Analyzed it within the context of Sri Lankan professional accounting education. Considering three main research objectives, such as Identify the generic skills employers of accounting professional expect from the professional accountants, assess the importance of generic skills based on perception of educators and employers of CA Sri Lanka students and identify any gaps between expected generic skills as perceived by employers and educators of CA Sri Lanka students. Adopted the quantitative approach and used the survey strategy of a questionnaire with closed-ended questions this research data was analyzed using SPSS statistical techniques. Analyzed was done by the Mann-Whitney U-test, Independent sample t-test, mean and median analysis. The major findings related to the three gaps. The ‘expectation gap’ were that there were only 1 skills where the accounting educators have different perceptions of the expectation from employers. The findings related to the ‘constraints gap’ were that there are 11 constraining elements which are prevailing within the context of professional accounting education. The findings related to the ‘performance gap’ there were only 5 skills where the accounting educators found to be ineffective in the development of skills in students as expected by employers for employment purpose. Considering the uniqueness of the study there was some dearth of literature employing it for practical investigation using for the professional accounting education. This research findings reflect the importance of expanding the professional accounting curricula by assessing and implanting generic skills development activities. This research also provides a skill acquisition framework which could be used as a reference point for new entrants to the accounting job-market.
