Generalized Einstein relation for aging processes
The authors propose a minimal Langevin model with time-dependent noise, diffusion coefficient, and friction coefficient, which is appropriate to describe cooling environments (granular gases, laser cooling). Assuming that the temperature and the friction coefficient decay in a power-law manner, the generalized Einstein relation is analysed.

Phase-separation behaviour of RNAs
Ribonucleoprotein granules are ubiquitous in living organisms with the protein and RNA components having distinct roles. In the absence of proteins, RNAs are shown to undergo phase separation upon heating. This transition is driven by desolvation entropy and ion-mediated crosslinking and is tuned by the chemical specificity of the RNA nucleobases.
Is water activity the elephant in the room?
The electrochemical conversion of carbon dioxide to high-value multicarbon products is very desirable, but also fraught with immense complexity in process design. A twist in tuning product yields in this reaction could be based on water activity.
