Multiplying decimals by integers is a tricky concept. That's why we've created this Year 6 Multiply Decimals by Integers Discussion Problem resource. Designed to be used after our Modelling PPT, Varied Fluency and Reasoning and Problem Solving activities, this resource aims to get children thinking deeper about multiplying decimals. There are two in-depth questions for children to answer, and each of them has different possible answers.

An answer page is provided to help with your marking and to further encourage children to discuss different ways of calculating or coming to an answer.
