I am 12 years old and read in class 7th standard. Now I know very well that reading is very good habit which can make me a complete. My hobby is reading interesting and knowledgeable books in my free time. Whenever I go to home from my school I like to read such books after completing my home work. In India, Independence Day is celebrated by the people of all religions, cultures and traditions with great joy and happiness. Independence Day in India is observed on 15th of August every year from 1947 as our country became independent on the same day from the British rule almost after 200 years of slavery.

I have a white coloured, soft and furry cat. It is a Himalayan Cat. These cats are known for their soft furry coats and that is what attracted me too and decided to have the cat as our pet animal. My father took me to a pet shop and my heart went pounding for this cute little white kitten with grey ears. We brought it home and since then it has been my best friend. I have named it Rosie.

I bathe it twice a month with the help of my mother. Bathing sessions are super fun for me as well as Rosie. My mother makes it a point to comb Rosie’s furry coat every day.

The full name of Dr. APJ abdul Kalam was Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam. He is popularly known as the Missile Man of India and People’s President. He was a great personality and inspiration to the youngsters of country who took his last breath at IIM, Meghalaya on 27th of July in 2015 because of the sudden cardiac arrest. He has mentioned his dream of making India a developed country in his book “India 2020-A vision for the New Millennium”.

First, I would give my friends and relatives a tea party. The menu would consist of the choicest sweets. Second, I would buy the best of clothes for my parents, brothers, sisters and myself. Third, I would buy a scooter, for it takes me a lot of time to travel on a cycle. Fourth, I would set up a library of my own. This would consist of the most interesting books for children. The boys and girls of my locality would be free to borrow these books and read them. All this would cost me about thirty thousand rupees.

I would deposit one lakh in a post office under some useful saving scheme. This would yield me the necessary funds for my higher education. Sixth, I would give the remaining amount to my parents so that they may build a house. At present, they do no have enough money to build one. We have been living in rented houses all our lives. Some landlords have been very good while others have been painfully bad. So we feel that there is nothing like having one’s own house. Well all these plans depend upon my winning a lottery prize!

CBSE Class 7 English Letter Writing are part of NCERT Solutions for Class 7 English . Here we have given CBSE Class 7 English Letter Writing.

Letter writing is one of the very effective modes of communication. Letters can be : 1. Personal — to friends or relatives. 2. Business — placing and receiving orders, complaints etc. 3. Official — to different government or public offices. 4. Invitations — formal and informal.

The form or Structure Each type of letter has its own particular form, but there are certain features common to all types. These are : 1. The Heading This consists of the writer’s address and the date which should be written at the top left-hand comer of the letter. For example : 58, Roypeta Chennai 28 March, 2016 Notes : The heading may not be written in formal invitation.

2. The Date Always write the date below the sender’s address. The students can choose any of the following ways of writing the date.

• 10 March 2016
• 10 March, 2016
• 10th March, 2016
• March 10, 2016

Unless mentioned in the question, students should write the same date on which they are taking the examination.

3. Greeting or Salutation The salutation should be written below the address and date after leaving the space of a line or so. The form of salutation will vary according to the type of letter you write. A. Personal Letter (a) To members of the family, the salutation will be : My dear Father, My dear Mother, My dear Sister, My dear Brother, etc. To uncles, aunts, cousins, etc, you may use either ‘My dear’ or ‘Dear’ depending upon your intimacy with them.

(b) To friends, the salutation will be : Dear Mr. Sharma (not very intimate) Dear Mohan (intimate) My dear Mohani (very intimate and affectionate)

(c) To strangers the salutation will be just formal. If they are men, it will be ‘Dear Sir’, if women, it will be ‘Dear Madam’.

4. The Address on the Envelope or Superscription The address should be written very clearly in this manner : Mrs Anamika Raj 58, Mount Road Chennai Notes :

• When you write a letter in an examination paper, don’t write your real name or address. You may use a fictitious name.
• Remember that the style of a personal letter is quite different from business, official or any other type of letters. These are intimate and long whereas the others are brief and to the point.

Question 4. To uncle thanking him for a nice birthday gift Your Uncle has presented a book to you on your birthday. It is related with the art of living. Pointing out the usefulness of the book in life, write a letter in about 100 words thanking your uncle for sending this valuable gift. You are Navin/ Nalini living at 250, Rqjdhani Enclave Baroda. Business Letters

1. Business letters should be short and to the point. Businessmen are always busy. They have no time to read long and confusing letters. 2. The style is always very formal. Certain terms of polite expressions are used, such as— “I shall be much obliged if you send me,” “Please despatch at your earliest convenience,” etc. 3. Business jargon should be avoided. 4. Avoid abbreviations as far as possible. 5. While ordering goods, care should be taken to give clear and exact descriptions of the articles wanted. If you are making a complaint, it should also be very clear though polite.

Theory of mind level AI will be able to better understand the entities it is interacting with by discerning their needs, emotions, and other thinking powers. And the last Self-awareness AI, which, self explanatorily, is an AI that has evolved to be so akin to the human brain that it has developed self-awareness.

AI is the solution to minimize human errors. Moreover, it never gets tired or wears out easily. We use a new device named ‘Alexa’, it’s fun learning and enjoying while the speedy mobile works are done by ‘Siri’. The smart cars are developed with a smart call system, to track the exact location and nearby positions. The AI also has some medicinal applications, it's said that time and tide waits for none, the doctor uses the artificial machine intelligence in patient’s treatment. AI is an alternative in many human risk situations; great research scientists use AI in calculating the flood intensity where human safety is vulnerable. 

There are countless pros and cons of any system, even a coin has two sides; it's up to the user the way he makes use of it. But in actuality, AI improves our thinking ability and to reach the horizon, even it states new horizons for the growing individual and expands its reach beyond the ocean and space. Time evolves from using a hand-fan to using smartphones to switching on the fan from the bed itself. The people must accept the new technologies and innovate for better lives and the divination of the country. 

AI is unable to exhibit human emotions so there is no reason to expect the AI to be benevolent. Furthermore, it is neither pocket-friendly, it requires a huge cost as it is a complex machine, not only its installation cost but also the maintenance and repair cost is huge. The major drawback is its not learning with the growing experience, it performs the same task in the same way as the algorithm installed inside it. In a way, creativity is somewhere vanishing with its use. 

Artificial Intelligence Types

There are two types of Artificial Intelligence:

The Narrow AI also known as  Weak AI. This is AI that operates within a limited context and simulates human intelligence. Narrow AI focuses on performing a single task extremely well, operating under constraints and limitations than the most basic human intelligence. Google search, Alexa or Siri, image recognition softwares, self-driving cars etc. are all examples of narrow AI.  

Artificial General Intelligence  or AGI is also referred to as Strong AI is the type of AI we see in the movies. Remember the robots from the TV show Westworld or Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation? AGI, like humans, can apply their general intelligence to solve any problem.

There are many pros and cons to any system. In the end, it is about how one decides to use it. 

AI doesn’t come cheap though. It involves a huge one-time cost for installation and then a constant spend on the maintenance and repair cost. So far, AI hasn’t been able to show or understand human emotions so there is no reason to expect the AI to be either benevolent or badly behaved. The major drawback of AI is that it  performs the same task in the same way each time as per the algorithm installed inside it. Also, the overuse and overdependence on AI is causing creativity to vanish slowly and steadily.
