The course allows physicians and other professionals in health care and related fields to earn a maximum 8.5 American Medical Association PRA Category 1 Credits. Each of the course’s four online modules are eligible for between 2.0 and 2.5 credits, with only the first module required.
“We designed the course so everyone had access to the fundamental elements but also provided flexibility for those who had the time and interest to engage with more in-depth instruction,” said Lapidos. “Our steering committee featured not just health system clinicians but also people with lived experience of psychosis, and everyone collaborated on determining course content and teaching strategies.”
