By J.G.Ballard,” People nowadays like to be together not in the old-fashioned way of, say, mingling on the piazza of an Italian Renaissance city, but, instead huddled together in traffic jams, bus queues, on escalators and so on. It’s a new kind of totally alien, but it’s the togetherness of modern technology.”  Even if traffic is a problem in our lives, but with continuous efforts, we can indeed find a way to solve it. Living with congestion is not a solution to our problem but at present an unavoidable circumstance.

Essay on Traffic Jam in English edumantra.net

Essay on Traffic Jam for Class 7 and 8- 300 Words

Traffic jams are a daily occurrence in many of our cities, leading to delays and disruption for both commuters and businesses. It’s easy to see the effects of traffic jams on productivity and efficiency, but often it is difficult to understand what the underlying causes are. This essay examines some of the common causes of traffic jams and suggests ways in which they can be alleviated. Firstly, the increasing number of cars on the roads is one of the main reasons behind traffic jams. As more people own cars, there are simply too many vehicles competing for limited space on the roads. Secondly, poor road infrastructure also plays a role in causing traffic jams. Narrow lanes or lack of proper signage can lead to confusion among drivers and cause traffic jams. Another factor that contributes to traffic congestion is accidents or breakdowns on the road. Even a minor collision can bring traffic to a stand as emergency services attend to those involved and clear up fragments from the scene. In addition, weather conditions like heavy rain or snowfall often worsen existing traffic problems by making roads slippery and reducing visibility. Lastly, human behaviour such as rash driving or disobeying traffic rules also adds to jams on our roads. Drivers who do not follow speed limits or change lanes carelessly create unnecessary delays which affect everyone else trying to navigate through busy streets. It’s important that we recognize these contributing factors so we can find ways to solve them effectively and decline our dependence on vehicles altogether where possible – whether through better public transportation systems or even adjusting work schedules so fewer passengers all try leaving at once!

Causes of Traffic Jam

Causes of Traffic Jam edumantra.net

Traffic jams are a common problem in many cities across the world. The causes of traffic jams can be attributed to various factors such as road accidents, insufficient infrastructure, and an increasing number of vehicles on the roads. One major cause of traffic jams is road accidents. Accidents often lead to the blockage of one or more lanes on a busy highway resulting in long queues. It takes time for emergency services and police to arrive at the scene leading to further delays. Another factor is insufficient infrastructure like narrow roads with no clear markings, and lack of flyovers and underpasses which results in traffic jams during peak hours causing road blockage. The increasing number of vehicles on the road also contributes significantly to traffic jams especially when together with poor public transport systems that do not provide applicable alternatives for passengers. These are just a few reasons why traffic jams occur frequently in our cities today. Addressing these issues through better planning and development can help reduce this problem for all citizens.

Solutions to Traffic Jams

Traffic jams are a growing concern in urban areas and their effects can cause stress, frustration, and waste of time. Therefore, it is important to consider possible solutions that can tackle this issue. One solution to traffic jams is the improvement of public transportation systems such as buses, subways, or trains. Providing efficient public transportation options for passengers encourages less reliance on private vehicles. Another solution could be promoting carpooling or ride-sharing programs. This helps to reduce the number of cars on roads during peak hours. Implementing strict laws against illegal parking and double parking could also ease traffic jams by ensuring proper usage of road space. Furthermore, building more lanes for bicycles and walkers would encourage alternative modes of transportation. Authorities should invest in modern technologies like intelligent transport systems (ITS) such as smart signals or GPS tracking devices that help optimize routes based on real-time data analysis which not only saves time but also fuel consumption. There are various ways to address the problem of traffic jams; however, implementing these ideas requires a collective effort from both individuals and government bodies alike.

To sum up, traffic jams are a common problem in urban areas. The rise of private vehicles and the lack of proper infrastructure contribute to this issue. Traffic jams can cause various negative impacts on individuals and society as a whole. Being stuck in a traffic jam can make people late for work or school. It also makes the air dirty because cars release smoke when they are running. This can be bad for our health and the environment. Plus, it can make people feel stressed and angry.

Solutions to Reduce Traffic Jams

To fix traffic jams, cities can make better roads or more ways to travel like buses and trains. People can also share rides or use bicycles. If less people use their own cars, there will be fewer vehicles on the road, which can help reduce traffic jams.

250 Words Essay on Traffic Jam

A traffic jam is when cars, trucks, and other vehicles are stuck on the road and cannot move or are moving very slowly. This often happens in big cities during the times when people go to work or come back home. It can be very annoying because people have to wait for a long time instead of doing fun things or spending time with their families.

Causes of Traffic Jams

Traffic jams happen for many reasons. Sometimes there are too many cars on the road, and they cannot all move at the same time. Accidents or road construction can also make traffic stop because there is less space for cars to go through. Bad weather, like heavy rain or snow, can make driving slower and harder, leading to more traffic jams.

When cars are stuck in traffic, it can cause problems. People can be late for work or school, which can be stressful. It also means cars are running for longer, which is not good for the air we breathe because it causes more pollution.

To reduce traffic jams, cities can do a few things. They can make public transportation better, like buses and trains, so that fewer people need to use their cars. Carpooling, where people share a ride, can also help because it means fewer cars on the road. Planning roads better and having traffic lights that work well can keep traffic moving smoothly, too.

Traffic jams are a big problem, but if everyone works together and tries different solutions, we can make them happen less often and make traveling easier and cleaner for everyone.

500 Words Essay on Traffic Jam

There are many reasons why traffic jams happen. One big reason is that there are more cars on the road than the road can handle. This is often seen in big cities where lots of people have cars. Sometimes, traffic jams happen because of accidents. When vehicles crash into each other, they block the road, and other vehicles cannot pass. Bad weather, like heavy rain or snow, can also make the roads slippery and unsafe, causing cars to slow down and create jams. Traffic jams can also be caused by road construction. When parts of the road are closed for repairs, all the cars have to squeeze into fewer lanes, and this can lead to a jam.

Effects of Traffic Jams

Traffic jams can be very frustrating. They make people late for work, school, and other important places. When you are stuck in a traffic jam, you might feel angry or anxious because you cannot do anything to make the cars move faster. Traffic jams can also be bad for our health. The cars and buses stuck in traffic jams release smoke and gases that pollute the air. Breathing in this dirty air can make us sick. Traffic jams also waste a lot of time and fuel, which is bad for the environment and expensive for drivers.

Traffic jams are a common problem in many places around the world. They are caused by too many cars on the road, accidents, bad weather, and road work. Traffic jams can make us late, cause stress, and harm our health and the environment. By choosing public transport, walking, cycling, and carpooling, we can help reduce the number of cars on the road and make traffic jams less common. Making better roads and managing traffic properly can also help keep traffic moving smoothly. If we all work together, we can make traffic jams less of a problem in our lives.

Introduction

India is now the world’s fifth-largest economy. For better opportunities, people are migrating from rural areas to urban areas. India ranks number 2 in the list of countries by ppulation. The rate of urban population is larger than the rural areas. Despite its strong economic growth, the country still faces its share of problems. Due to the deprived facilities, people face many problems. In metro cities one serious problem is Traffic. Traffic Jams have now become a part of our daily lives. Traffic Jams can simply be defined as vehicles stuck on the road and having difficulties in moving smoothly. Vehicles can remain stuck in one place in a Traffic Jam for a very long period of time sometimes. But Traffic Jams are not as simple an issue as defined by the concept. It affects our lives and the national economy.

Reasons for Traffic Jam

There are various reasons why Traffic Jams occur and why they have become an indispensable part of our lives in an unwanted way. Most of the time, Traffic Jams happen due to the infrastructure of Indian roads and bridges. During the rainy season, the pavements of the roads deteriorate due to various factors like cracks, potholes, depressions, rutting, revelling, etc. This causes a lot of distress for people. They have to face unnecessary harassment during their day to day travelling. In our country, public transportation has not been able to cater to the growing travel demand. When urgent situations arise and or people have to reach somewhere within a scheduled time, they are not able to depend on public transport. They prefer to use their own vehicles. This leads to the number of vehicles on the road becoming much more than the capacity of the roads and the flyovers.

One more unfortunate reason as to why Traffic Jams occur is the negligence of Traffic rules and complete ignorance towards the consequences. As a basic Traffic rule, one should always make way for ambulances, but people most often fail to follow this rule as a part of their daily habit. This leads to ambulances getting stuck in Traffic Jams. This in turn can again lead to anyone losing his/her life. By facing problems of pathetic Traffic Jams every day, people become impatient. This affects their attitude towards Traffic rules and they lose the patience to follow the same. People end up flouting Traffic rules causing accidents and injuries. Road rage has become a very common cause of accidents nowadays and more than half of the drivers are guilty of this.

Issues Faced by People due to Traffic Jams

People's lives are greatly impacted by Traffic congestion. It is one of the most important difficulties that residents in big cities face on a daily basis. Because most individuals have to deal with it on a regular basis, they may be affected psychologically. It also has a negative impact on people's employment, education, and personal lives, as well as the country's progress. There are multiple issues that people have to face owing to the increasing problems of Traffic Jams.

It is due to increasing Traffic Jams that most of the time people get late for their work. To avoid getting late, people start driving faster than the prescribed speed limit. This increases the chances of accidents. Because of the issue of increasing Traffic Jams, kids also have to leave their homes early in the morning for school. Many kids spend more than an hour on a school bus because of road congestion even if their schools are a few minutes to hardly half an hour away. Moreover, facing pathetic Traffic every day affects people’s general attitude and mood. People start to get hyper and frustrated and sometimes they take out their frustration on others. A general frustration and hyper attitude affect people’s daily performance at work too.

Most often Traffic Jams are also breeding grounds for increased air pollution and noise pollution. This affects people’s respiratory organs. Kids especially are at higher risk since at such a small age being exposed to pollution reduces their quality of health. Traffic Jams badly affect our health and further reduce the air quality by increasing polluting fumes, unnecessary honking of horns etc. It also results in a waste of fuel. This again can be a cause of unnecessary depletion of our non-renewable energy. Increased Traffic congestion also can be responsible for an increase in the emission of greenhouse gases. This can also lead to increasing global warming.

Solving the Problem of Traffic Jams

Nowadays the government is starting to take some positive steps toward this big problem. Public transport frequency and efficiency are developing day by day. The authorities are also taking care of public transport vehicles, online booking facilities, and following up with scheduled time slots. As people are also becoming more and more aware of the problems arising out of Traffic Jams, they are becoming more and more responsible as well. People are now preferring carpooling and public transport like local trains, metro, buses and so on. They are reducing the usage of their own personal scooters, bikes, cars, etc. Simultaneously, there are many more improvements that are happening in strengthening modes of public transport. Metro and Subways help people to maintain smooth travelling in their day to day lives. With the help of modern technology such as Google Maps, people can now avoid Traffic Jams. If people and the government come together then we can overcome the problem of Traffic Jams.

FAQs on Traffic Jam Essay

1. How do traffic jams affect our day to day lives?

Traffic Jam affects our day to day life enormously and has now become one of the most serious problems in big cities especially for the working people who need to reach the office on time. Traffic jams also cause mentals and psychological stress that can bring negativity towards work, education and personal life. Traffic Jams tend to waste a lot of time resulting in a non-productive activity. This time could have actually been utilized on some productive work. Employees suffer a maximum loss due to delays for their important work. Traffic jams not only wastes time but also wastes fuels and causes air pollution. To cope up with the time wasted in traffic jams people opt for unsafe driving which leads to road accidents and injuries. Traffic jams also result in constant blowing of horns which creates noise pollution.

2. What are the measures to be taken to avoid traffic jams?

Use of public transport is one of the best ways to avoid traffic jams as collection of unnecessary personal vehicles not only uses space in your garage but also occupies space on the road. Use of carpool and sharing vehicles reduces air pollution and also results in less traffic jams. Traffic rules must strictly be followed and vehicle registration and driving license policy must be strictly implemented. To avoid accidents the authority should improve the condition of roads in India.

3. What are the major causes of traffic jams in India?

With the increase in the population, the number of vehicles in India is also increasing as people are buying more cars and two wheelers to suit their needs. Moreover, the condition of India's road is also not well. This becomes the major reason behind the traffic jam in India. Apart from that there are various other reasons like private encroachments and non-cooperation among drivers leads to traffic jams. Unscientific road design, lack of free ways and footpaths results in the crowd using the main road which also consumes space and leads to traffic jams. Proper bus bays and cycle tracks are required to encourage people using public transport and cycles.

4. Why have traffic jams become a global problem?

Traffic jams have become a global problem because most of the countries are wasting their time unproductively due to traffic congestions. The U.S is the most affected with almost 10 most congested urban areas. Boston approximately loses 164 hours in traffic congestion, Washington wastes around 155 hours and Chicago wastes 138 hours of its time. Other places like New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, etc also lose approx more than 100 hours in traffic congestion. U.S. cities compare to the rest of the world because Boston is the only American city that makes the list of the top 10 most congested cities in the world, weighted for population. Moscow in Russia loses around 210 hours of their time in traffic jams. Istanbul, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, London, Italy all are the top places suffering from traffic jams.

Essay 1 (250 Words) – Traffic Jam: Reasons

Introduction

Life is all about a mixture of achievements and failures, but most of us focus on the failures. Similarly, we like riding a car but when the same car gets stuck in a traffic jam, we feel horrible. We suffer a lot and it affects us in many ways.

What is a Traffic Jam?

When there are a lot of vehicles on a road and they get stuck at a place then it causes a traffic jam. It is harmful in many ways and we spend our precious time, petrol, and many other things in this jam. It irritates us and also causes air and noise pollution.

Reasons behind Traffic Jam

  • I can blame overpopulation for a traffic jam. The growing population is also buying new cars day by day as a result; nowadays there are more than enough cars on road. We have a limited amount of natural resources like land, water, etc. We can’t make new roads in big cities to overcome the traffic issues and as a result, we face such type of jam.
  • The second one is our roads; they are not very broad in many areas which cause traffic jams.
  • The third reason is bad driving skills normally people don’t follow traffic rules in India and they try to opt for a shortcut. As a result, it causes a traffic jam.

Sometimes a jam can continue up to too many hours, which can be dangerous because there can also be an ambulance waiting to clear the jam. It is not beneficial in any way. We should make some strict rules and figure out a perfect solution to this problem.

Essay 2 (400 Words) – Traffic Congestion: Problems and Solutions

There are different challenges in every field either it is pollution or traffic. When the number of vehicles increases it also causes trouble like traffic jams, air pollution, road accidents, etc; still, we use them. But many of us do not follow traffic rules which cause traffic issues.

What is Traffic Congestion?

When there is more than the required number of vehicles at a place waiting to move forward and get stuck due to some reason then this scenario is stated as Traffic Congestion. It is one of the major issues in most of the countries. Even developed countries like America and China also face traffic lock for many hours. Sometimes these hours also change into days. Really it is horrible to be part of a traffic jam.

A nation will not be called developed only by having some basic facilities, but it also measures how it deals with a problem raised due to development? Nowadays every country can have a car manufacturing unit but the main issue is how to manage these many cars on roads or how to deal with the pollution caused by these cars?

How to Solve Traffic Congestion?

There are many ways which can neutralize this problem I have mentioned some of them below:

  • Cities with narrow roads should construct some alternate routes to cover those lean roads. You can have an example of Mumbai, the new Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL) which connects Mumbai to Navi Mumbai and is 22.8 km. It has reduced a lot of traffic issues in Mumbai. Similarly, alternative ways should be searched to reduce traffic issues in the most congested areas.
  • Different lane for different types of vehicles; for example, some people ride their car at a speed of 50 whereas some at 100. So, different lanes should be marked as per the speed of the vehicles, especially on the highways. This can control traffic jams and also accidents.
  • Sometimes due to a lack of mechanical services, some cars or vehicles cause a traffic jam. So, these facilities should be available at every 50 km. This will save a lot of time and will also solve many traffic issues.
  • Apart from the above activities, the government should take some actions by controlling the number of vehicles on a single line. As we have a limited amount of trains on a path and we know no new train can run on this path, similarly the government should start some rules for transport systems. So that there will be a limited number of vehicles on a particular road. One of the best examples is following the odd and even rule.

There are many ideas to control this issue and secondly it depends on us. Drive safe and in a proper way, this will also save you as well as others.

Essay on Traffic Jam

Essay 3 (500 – 600 Words) – Traffic Jam: Causes, Consequence, and Conclusion

All of us like development; but at the same time, we also face some problems like air pollution, the greenhouse effect, water pollution, etc, apart of pollution, overpopulation, availability of less natural resources, etc are some of the major issues. Similarly, there is something called traffic jam, which promotes noise pollution, air pollution, and many other issues.

Consequences of Traffic Jam

  • One of the major drawbacks of a traffic jam is wastage of time, nowadays time is very precious, and what about if you spend 2 hours daily in a traffic jam? Really it consumes a lot of time. Some famous traffic jams across the world like in Los Angeles; there was a jam of 64.4 hours, following Honolulu 59.5 hours, etc. It can be so long and terrible.
  • Traffic jam causes air pollution because it does allow people to switch off their vehicle, which results in the emission of harmful CFC gases and causes air pollution.
  • It also wastes natural resources like other fuel and petrol.
  • Traffic jam results in noise pollution which is not good in many ways and people get frustrated because of the noise.
  • People suffer and are marked as latecomers in their offices or colleges because of traffic issues.
  • Due to these traffic jams, people get frustrated and also reach office late which decreases their productivity and affects their career.

Some Major Causes of Traffic Jam

  • Lack of different lanes for motorcycles, public transports, etc which leads to traffic jams in many countries. When everyone travels on the same road it will definitely cause a problem.
  • Narrow roads are one of the major problems because there are certain areas like a marker, a crowded area, where shops cover the roadside as a result very narrow space is left for vehicles which causes traffic jams.
  • Overpopulation is something that cannot be neglected. The population is growing day by day in the entire world as a result there are more transports on the roads. Even 6 lane roads are resulting in a traffic jam.
  • There are some countries like India where people very seldom follow traffic rules which cause terrible traffic issues.
  • All cities are not planned as a result some of them still have narrow roads or just a one-lane road which causes long traffic jams.
  • Over construction like metro, flyovers, etc has also affected traffic a lot, although they are made to control the traffic issues but, in some areas, they are not successful.
  • Climate also plays a very important role, in the rainy season most of the roads get blocked and blockage causes other issues which result in a traffic jam.
  • There are very few cities in India with a regular footpath, it categorizes people and lack of these pathways sometimes causes long traffic jams.
  • Sometimes stray animal blocks the road which causes traffic jam in many parts of the country.

How to Overcome Traffic Jams?

  • Roads are one of the most important and basic needs and the government should solve all types of road issues so that people could easily ride and have a traffic-free journey.
  • Having different lanes for cars, cycles and walking people will also reduce traffic issues.
  • Lack of parking facilities; people park their car on the road which causes traffic jams, so malls and other shops should have enough parking spaces to avoid traffic issues.
  • Promote public transport because this is one of the best ways to reduce the road population. Suppose four members of a house have four cars and each of them takes their car, this will really cause a traffic issue. So, either promote public transport or better to travel together in a single car at a time.
  • Following traffic rules can also reduce traffic issues up to some extent.

There should be strict traffic rules and traffic police should have an eye on people. Our engineers should develop some smart gadgets for traffic police so that they can take some instant action. Apart from this, be a civil citizen of your country and follow all the rules to avoid any kind of discomfort.

  • Commuting on the roads of Delhi has become unsafe and has resulted in the increasing number of road fatalities. Traffic jams are known to increase these mishaps. Delhi is known for the highest number of road accidents in the country.
  • There is an increase in noise pollution and air pollution due to traffic jams.
  • The other problems caused due to traffic jams on Delhi roads are road rage, wastage of fuel, wear and tear on vehicles.
  • Emergency vehicles such as fire brigade and ambulance get stuck up due to traffic jams.

Effective implementation of intelligent transport system can bring about sustainable traffic solution. Proper implementation of ITS can lead to traffic efficiency, less traffic congestion, safety to drivers and improved energy efficiency. Other measures that need to be taken are to develop and improve public transport network, improve transport infrastructure, improve traffic safety, create awareness about traffic rules and safety and develop cost-effective public transport facilities. The effectiveness of such measures also depends on the people of Delhi and proper imposition of laws.

Essay on Traffic Problems in Big Cities – 500 words

Population in India is increasing day by day. More and more people are moving to urban areas. So, with the increase in population and urbanization the problem of traffic is becoming more severe in big cities. The pressure of traffic also results in increasing numbers of road accidents. In addition, there are people who have little road sense and often break the traffic rules. This too has resulted in road mishaps.

The major reason of traffic jams is obviously more private cars and vehicles on the road. Poor road management and lack of proper infrastructure also leads to traffic congestion. Besides, the work areas of people are often located far away from the residential areas, which is why they need to travel to work daily. These are the major factors responsible for traffic in big cities and cause several problems.

Problem Arising Due to Traffic in Big Cities

Let’s have a look at some major problems that arise due to traffic in big cities:

  • Traffic is one of the major problems in big cities and has made the lives of people really difficult. It is an everyday problem people need to deal with. It wastes time of commuters and motorists. As it is a non productive activity, it also effects our economic growth negatively.
  • People experience delays which result in reaching late for meetings, work, schools and so on. This may even result in personal losses.
  • It also results in waste of fuels that causes air pollution and emission of green house gases.
  • It increases stress and frustration among the motorists and passengers encouraging aggressive driving and annoyed behavior resulting in reduced health of passengers. It may also include verbal insults and intentionally driving in an aggressive and unsafe manner that may lead to road mishaps which can cause injuries and deaths.
  • Traffic congestion may interfere with the route of emergency vehicles that need to move quickly.
  • It is usually not possible for the drivers to estimate the travel time. It takes more time to travel to the destination and results in less productive activities.
  • Traffic jams can also have psychological impact on the mind of a person. The traffic congestion and constant blowing of horns creates excessive noise pollution that leads to aggressive behavior. The delay in work performance and the sense of loss due to less productivity constantly hangs heavy on their heads.
  • Traffic jams hinder the progress of individuals, firms and the nation as a whole. These are not favored by anybody in this fast paced world. Not only do they impact people but also adversely affect our environment and overall economic growth and development.

Traffic problem is one of the major problems that need serious attention. There should be more public transport facility at affordable rates and better infrastructure to encourage people to use public transport. The citizens also need to act in a responsible manner and use public transport or share transport more often to reduce the traffic. Measures also need to be taken to control population which is the major cause of increasing number of vehicles on the roads.

  • Unproductive time is the major disadvantage of traffic jam. People simply get stuck up in traffic jams and wait to go for work. People who have to travel long distance for work or the students who have to rush to school or college may get caught up in traffic jams. This impacts their productivity at work place/ school.

Those who regularly travel through the traffic areas have an idea of approximately how long it usually takes to reach their particular destination. But in case, they get stuck in traffic jams more than the usual time, they get late to reach where they need to head.
  • The breaking and accelerating of the vehicles in traffic jams burns more fuel. More use of fuel costs more to the commuters. And the delay in productivity leads to additional loss.
  • Road rage is the absurd reaction of commuters that is common due to traffic jams. The constant thought of getting late and the loss due to waste of time annoy people. In such a situation if someone is driving slower and blocking the way of person behind him or if someone is overtaking the other driver, it results in aggressive behavior. One of the biggest issues in an urban area is traffic congestion. One of the primary reasons for traffic congestion is poor planning. To circumvent this an appropriate planning is necessary.

Poor planning results in terrible traffic congestions. One of the key areas is near the junctions. During the initial phase, a junction traffic control might start with a simple signal, and when the traffic jams increase, more and more complex traffic control systems should be involved. One another area we often see congestion is when there is maintenance on the road, as there are no alternate routes to manage traffic. Other causes of traffic congestions are people not obeying the law. Another reason for traffic congestion is a huge number of people using private vehicles instead of public transportations like buses, which can carry a large number of persons.

There should be good coordination between national planning, county planning, and city planning to have their growth predictions aligned in order to have proper planning of the road, they could come up with road sizes in order to meet the type of vehicles that might pass by. There should be coordination between different departments for the maintenance to avoid congestions during maintenance and when designing routes, there should always be alternate routes to bypass congestion due to maintenance or other mishaps. People should develop a sense of responsibility and adhere to traffic rules. Law enforcement can also use surveillance techniques as deterrent so that people will obey the laws. We should also reduce the gaps in public transportations, as this encourages people to use public transportation to a greater extend. There is also a mentality change that is needed for people to use public transportation more and more.

In conclusion, proper planning will help in mitigating traffic jams to a certain extend.

Myriads of reasons can be considered while addreving this issue. but the most conspicuous one is people not following proper traffic rules while driving and parking vehicles. it is due to the fact that some civilians are very careless towards there duties. as a result it causes traffic problems. for example people park there cars in no parking zones for saving their time which creates lot of difficulties to another person.Another subtle reason behind this is due to lack of public transport. this is because people feel it in convenient while using. consequently it creates traffic problems.

However , on the other hand , every lock has a key. similarly , there are couple of solutions to curb this problem. First of all , there should be some strict rules and regulations for civilians related to traffic rules moreover an high amount of fine should be charged from the person repeating any offence. Public transport should also be improved according to people convenience and government should also motivate people for using more public transport. Pooling cabs can also help for reducing traffic on city roads.

Traffic congestion is one of the pressing issues in many urban cities around the world. Since everyone uses the transport system in everyday life to reach the destination on time, it is essential to manage the traffic. In this essay, we will go through the various reasons for the traffic congestion and possible solutions to eradicate the problem.

To begin, various reasons might cause the traffic congestion, and the situation is not limited to slower speeds, increase vehicle queues, and longer trip times. Undoubtedly, one of the primary reasons is that people do not follow the traffic rules and regulations. As everyone tries to reach their destination without stopping at the stop signs and red signals which would result in traffic congestion and would not let any vehicle move towards any direction. Additionally, when traffic signals are not working and lack of appropriate signs especially at schooling and housing areas will also develop a similar situation. For example, there was a situation in Singapore in 2008, where a traffic signal was not working, and everyone was moving in their direction which resulted in the traffic jam and took more than 6 hours to clear it which also led 2 people to die as they were trying to commute to hospital in an emergency condition.

However, there are solutions to eradicate this situation such as by enforcing strict rules and regulations by government bodies along with the periodic examination of the transport system of the city. People tend to be lenient when there are no consequences, by incurring tickets and fines whenever they do not follow the regulations. For example, the person will be cautious to repeat a second time whenever a person crosses the red signal or didn’t stop at the red sign. In addition, the government needs to set up a department that is focused to examine the traffic systems to ensure all the traffic signals and systems are working appropriately. In Japan, they have improved their entire traffic system and have noticed the reduction of traffic congestion from 48% to 5% in five years.

To conclude, by enforcing proper regulations and strategies by government to the traffic system we can eliminate all the struggles that an individual in facing on roads.

In metropolitan cities, one of the biggest issues is traffic jam.The main reason for this is increasing number of motor vehicles , while public transition is in the worst condition and reliable solution is add tax .

Analysing the statement, it is clearly seen , as population grows , the number of cars is growing as well, travelling by a car is more flexible and convenient to people’s lifestyle, weekly household shopping, for instance .it would be more convenient to use your own car instead of a public transportation which might be overcrowded and not available for the entire day . Furthermore, another obstacle is there is no restrictions around auto purchases.Everyone can buy a car as long as he has revenue for it. For example , if a big city has about million people and each of them own the car , so there would be a million automobiles on the roads which cause traffic jam .

The possible solution for this may be the promotion of car sharing schemes which will cost effective and it will motivate people to use fewer cars. Also ,by improving public transportation ,for instance, reduce fare and more frequency of buses and trains will encourage people use it more . Furthermore , adding more cycle lanes will also inspire people to use bicycles instead of cars . And what might help it is adding tax for vehicle , it would lead to reconsider if they really need an auto.

In conclusion, the increasing amount of ownership vehicles and awful public transportation is always responsible for the huge traffic jams in big cities .However ,by improving public transportation by the governments will provide solution to reduce congestions .

while public transition is in the worst condition( and the worst condition/unavailability of public transportation) , and reliable solution is add tax . (to tackle this problem , government can levy high road tax)

Analysing the statement, it is clearly seen- better version of words could have chosen

Topic sentence needs to be loud and clear

.Everyone can buy a car as long as he has (can afford) revenue for it.

each of them own (owns)

I could see the solution mentioned in introduction is not the one that is prominent in body paragraph 2, and solution given in the conclusion is also something different from the one mentioned in introduction.

A major problem faced by metropolitan cities around the world is the traffic congestion encountered by them ,on a daily basis. This can be accounted to an exponential rise in population, which in turn leads to more people opting for private vehicles and lack of proper city planning. Some solutions to curb this problem are by encouraging the use of public transport and better government initiatives.

In the last decade, we have seen an enormous rise in population numbers. More people has meant that there are more vehicle buyers, which has been a major reason for the problem of traffic congestion ,in cities around the world. Due to this reason, most countries in the world are struggling to offer better road infrastructure, as there is an ever-growing need, which is often difficult to fulfil. Moreover, Lack of city planning in most developed and developing economies has worsened this issue.

Betterment of public transport and establishment of government initiatives are pivotal in solving this problem. Ensuring public transport is affordable and connected has already shown phenomenal results in cities like London and Sydney, where traffic numbers has halved in the last 5 years. Government’s need to take stringent measures and initiatives ,like creating traffic free zones and only walking / areas ,around high streets. We have recently seen cities like Delhi and Beijing taking up the odd-even initiative, whereby only certain vehicles are allowed on the road, on a particular day.

To conclude, It is imperative to control the problem of traffic jams with innovative and stricter measures, keeping in mind the manifold issues it might cause to our future generations.

Traffic congestion is one of the alarming issues in urban cities around the world. This essay will first describe the biggest causes of traffic jams which includes the lack of infrastructure and more private vehicles owned by citizens, then provide significant solutions like well structured roads and use of public transport.

The foremost reason for traffic clogging is because of the absence of well organized roads and more automobiles owned by people these days. Increasing unavailability of properly managed roads results in big traffic jams which sometimes lasts for days. Furthermore, in addition to that there is more conveyance on the highways these days because today almost everyone in the city has their own cars. For instance, the world’s biggest traffic congestion happened in China in 1992 which lasted for more than two weeks, just because of the non-existence of systematic roads and increasing population.

On the other hand, possible solutions of these causes would be to construct the roads in planned manner and more usage of public transport. While the materials used in constructing roads and the availability of resources are much higher today, still there is always a room for improvement which is to do proper planning in this case. Along with this, it is necessary to encourage people to use more and more public transportation. For example, China was more prone to traffic congestion in the 20th century but they easily cope with that today with proper planning. Traffic Jam is one of the most profound issues faced by every metropolitan city. Traffic jams mostly occur during major roads or right near big malls, theatres, bus stands and railway stations. It is crowded by vehicles on major roads that many people use to travel to work or school.

Now what is the main reason behind a traffic jam? Though we are living in a major city where all facilities are provided, still the roads are very much broken and damaged. Most of the roads connecting to major places are destroyed by weather or by car accidents. The solution for reducing traffic jam is taking Public Transportation. Usage of Public transportation is efficient, reliable and at times faster than personal vehicles. It is economical and provides discounts for senior citizens and students. People can save a lot by eliminating the need to pay for parking, car insurance and not to mention gasoline.

The other cause for hold-up of vehicles is people’s hesitation to use Buses and Trains. For example , I noticed the other day that most of the people who used big cars such as Sumo, Nexon and i20 had only only person travelling in it. For an Individual person, taking a bus would be much more appropriate. On the other hand every car only had a single person taking it. This seems to be waste of energy, money and this mindset leads to traffic jam. The government should encourage people to take public transportation. The government should provide necessary amenities in buses and trains . Furthermore it should increase the number and frequency of the rides so as to make it less crowded and more comfortable.

To summarize, the main causes for traffic jams are roads in bad condition and people’s hesitation towards Public transportation. Therefore if everyone starts to take Public transport, the traffic will reduce to a great extent.

Traffic jams mostly occur during (on) major roads or right near big malls, theatres, bus stands and railway stations

Introduction needs to talk about causes and solution to tackle this problem rather than just exaggerating the issue.

Now a days, one of the most debated topics in the world, that is people face in there day to day life in cities is traffic congestion. Rise in traffic is at alarming rate in metropolitan cities. This is due to poor management of traffic signals, and no proper infrastructure, which leads to traffic blockage. And we will discuss few solutions how authorities should manage traffic signals.

Firstly, people who have busy schedules tend to bypass signals and create inconvenience to incoming traffic which results in clogging of traffic. Especially, young peers we can see them riding motor bikes with out proper knowledge of traffic rules. Furthermore, improper functioning of traffic signals and absence of traffic police. For instance, an article published in a popular newspaper they quoted malfunctioning of traffic lights was primary reason.

Proper education should be provided to citizens before hitting the roads. On the other hand, authorities should have continuous monitoring of traffic signals and imposing fines to those who neglect traffic rules. For example, in united states of America, there government implement heavy fines and even bookcases on citizens who disobey rules. In developed countries, we can see artificial intelligent cameras which can send photos, where you crossed signal, they even use these cameras to catch criminals. Even I observed some of these technologies implemented in our states.

To conclude, government should take stringent actions against people who go against law, and provide good infrastructure.

Traffic congestion has become an alarming issue in the metropolitan cities. This essay first describes the main causes of traffic congestion like increasing use of private vehicles as well as poor infrastructure and then provides the vital solutions to overcome the problems like building better roadways, flyovers and also encourage citizens to use public transport.

As population is increasing day by day, so more demand for automobiles and more private vehicles on roads. People prefer to use their own vehicles to travel around the cities instead of using public transportation because public transport is overcrowded and not well maintained. For instance, in bus depot of Azadpur an urban area in Delhi where there is no proper timing of buses and bus services are also less, so citizens have to wait for hours to reach at their destination. Secondly, there is no well organised roads and roads are often in bad condition. For example, karala, a place in Delhi, where one can find potholes on the road surface. Due to which traffic jam lasts for 4-5 hours. During monsoon season, the situation becomes worsening. Poor infrastructure is the foremost cause for traffic clogging not only in Delhi but in all metropolitan cities.

On the other hand, proper solutions for these causes would be to construct better roads, flyovers and highways in a well planned manner to avoid traffic jam. During construction process, best quality material should be used so that infrastructure will last long. Secondly, government should encourage citizens to use public transport and also conduct awareness campaigns to make public responsible towards public transport. The government should provide necessary amenities as well as bus services should be more so that people don’t have to wait for longer. For example, Delhi government has started a scheme in which travelling is free for women in buses. The scheme has increased the use of public transport. Such types of schemes should be started by the government so that people will start using public transport instead of private vehicles.

To conclude, government as well as citizens should be more responsible. Government should be the main facilitator in providing amenities. Government should take proper measures to encourage citizens to use public transport and in avoiding traffic congestion.

the vital solutions to overcome the problems like building better roadways, flyovers and also encourage citizens to use public transport. ( the vital solutions like building better roadways, flyovers and also encourage citizens to use public transport. to overcome the (this) problem)

Since the beginning of 20th century traffic congestion is a major problem faced by all the metropolitan cities due to the increase in the number of private vehicle and insufficient usage of public transport. The traffic congestion can be tackled by taking various kind of actions like motivating people to use public transportation, making changes in the traffic law and implementing new way of transportation would solve the problem.

To begin with, starting of modern world had lead to unique kind of innovations and automobile sector is one of them. Now in this era owning a private vehicle is considered as standard of living in the society due to that we are witnessing more number of vehicle on the roads. For instance Delhi transportation authorities came with a different idea of odd vehicle system, it will allow citizens to drive their vehicle in the city on fixed days and there will be a rotation in running vehicle on the road. It actually reduced 30% of the traffic.

In addition, due to the increase of private vehicle services people are travelling less in public transport and this can be solved giving better services to passengers, building flyover to reduce the time of travel. For instance, in the city of Bengaluru they came with a suitable idea of separate lane for public transport buses and in that method no other vehicle are allowed to drive on the lane. It decreased time of travelling as it encouraged people to travel in public transportation and it decreased 25% traffic of the city by following such unique solution.

To conclude, the government and it’s citizens should act responsible by implementing new rules, encouraging to travel in public transportation and providing economic services as well as the citizens should follow traffic rules by this way traffic congestion can be solved.

Increasing traffic congestion is a problem faced by all the metro cities. There are several reasons for it. For instance, Increasing number of vehicles , the roads infrastructure, etc.

According to a recent survey by popular magazine it has found that in today’s era each house has more than one vehicle in their family. With this statement, we can assume the number of private transports are more. Now if everyone in the family uses their private transport to commute as a result it enlarges the road jam. To avoid it people should use one of the two options either they start using public transport or carpool. Both options are pocket-friendly, and the person will be avoiding the hassle of driving on the road. Moreover, it is safe for the public. Example, carpools have Mobile app to book the ride and share location with their dear one. This functionality makes sure their loved one is safe and reached to their destination on time

Furthermore, many MNC came up with an idea to allow their employees to work from home twice or thrice a week to avoid the bottleneck traffic issue. It avoids the rushing office hours issue as well.

Another suggestion is to reduce the gridlock, the city should have a better road structure like flyovers, more than one route to reach the destination. If over bridge available, then there will be fewer roadblocks as it helps to avoid the area which is not common to cover. More bicycles path can help to less logjam although it is reduces the air pollution as well. In a few cities, government bus has different lane on road and no other vehicle are allowed on that lane which is helpful for transit. Decided lanes can also be helpful for the existing situation of roads

In conclusion, to minimize traffic jams public and government needs to work together. More options for the public via new structure and usage of other transportation. Changing the reporting time and shift working hours is also another option to minimize the blockage on road.

Introduction is incomplete, not stating the solutions.

if everyone in the family uses their private transport to commute (,) (it will result in road jam) as a result it enlarges the road jam.

B.P 1, is mentioning solutions, stick to pattern as discussed in class . Single idea per paragraph

If over bridge (is) available

More bicycles path can help to less logjam although (moreover,) it is reduces the air pollution as well. –

no other vehicle are (is) allowed on that lane

conclusion is again focusing the solution, “causes” part has not been discussed. Hence, not summarizing the paragraph completely

Traffic congestion is one of the major problems people face in everyday life in major cities.

This essay will first discuss about the root causes of traffic congestion like, improper planning while establishing the cities/capitals and inefficient use of public transport and then argue that solutions are construction of better high ways, metros which covers entire city and implementing the different methods of effective use of public transport.

The major causes of traffic blocking are that not planning well before constructing/establishing the cities and ineffective use of public transport.

Firstly, Administrative bodies responsible for designing the cities, are not planning the cities well before and lacking the knowledge of estimating the developments of cities in future. Hence, soon after the cities are established, they are suffering from the congestion issues. For instance, Bangalore city is not planned well before establishing, like in the initial day’s there were no metro trains, no proper flyovers to deviate the city traffic in 4-way intersection areas, no bridges/flyovers to deviate the highway traffic from inter city traffic.

Secondly, People are using their individual vehicles to commute instead of using public transport. If every individual uses his/her own vehicle, it occupies lot of space in roads, leading to road blockage. For example, in New York city most of the individuals are commuting to their offices using their own vehicles leading to hours of traffic jams.

Possible solutions to these problems would be to plan well before establishing the cities and people should start using public transport, bicycles, carpooling methods whenever possible.

If the administrative bodies plan well before designing cities and construct/provide metro trains which can connect all ends of the city and also constructing the proper highways wherever possible it would definitely solve the traffic congestion issues.

Furthermore, People should start using the public transport wherever possible. Carpooling is another method through which multiple people can share the same vehicle to reach their respective destinations to avoid traffic congestions. People who commute to smaller distance can opt for bicycles to avoid traffic congestions and as well as pollution.

Chandigarh is one of the well planned city in India , which has proper metro connectivity throughout the city, it has best highways to avoid the intersection traffic jams. And also, public transport is well maintained by government which covers most of the areas within the city.

To conclude, Major cities are suffering from traffic congestion issues caused by improper planning of cities while establishing and not utilizing the public transport effectively, but possible solutions could be to plan the cities well before and people should opt for public transport or carpooling methods.

For instance, Bangalore city is not planned well before establishing, as there were no metro trains, no bridges to deviate the city traffic in 4-way intersection areas, and no flyovers to deviate the highway traffic from inter city traffic. Secondly, People are using their individual vehicles to commute instead of using public transport. It occupies enormous space in roads, leading to road blockage. For example, in New York city most of the individuals are commuting to their offices using their own vehicles leading to hours of traffic jams.

The administrative bodies should plan well before designing cities and construct metro trains which can connect all ends of the city and also construct highways. Furthermore, People should start using the public transport or carpooling wherever possible. For instance, Chandigarh is one of the well-planned cities in India, which has proper metro connectivity throughout the city along with best highways to avoid the intersection traffic jams. And also, public transport is well maintained by government which covers most of the areas within the city.

There is clear overall progression throughout the essay , task achievement has been achieved. The only part which can be effective is sentence structure. Use conjunctions and cohesive devices to reduce the verbosity.

Don’t use capital letters after commas.

Traffic is a everyday visual witnessed by people living in almost all cities. traffic jam is very familiar problem confronted by millions of people while travelling. personal vehicles and road traffic management are major contributors to everyday traffic difficulties. this essay will discuss the causes and will provide a logical solution.

There are many factors influencing traffic congestion. however, personal vehicles and road transport management play pivotal role in influencing traffic jam. mode of transport preferred by people changes with their financial level and need of the hour. generally most people depend on personal vehicles like own cars and bikes. Therefore, it adds more vehicles on road leading to traffic congestion. In comparision, i believe if people relied more on public transport and resorted to car pooling, traffic hurdles will subside in very less time.

Traffic management by government authorities have different approach in each state of the same country. In most cases traffic jam occurred due to terrible management of traffic by state government authorities. In addition, unsual road constructions and lack of strict rules and regulation provide to traffic congestion. Personally i witnesses bangalore and kolkata traffic management. For instance, bangalore has india’s worst traffic jams all year and it can be attributed to bad traffic administration of state. On the other hand, kolkata has more population and the short traffic signal intervals makes the city observe less traffic jams.

In conclusion, traffic congestion is a time consuming problem in our daily commute. however it can be avoided by using public transport, travelling together in single vehicle with colleagues and introduction of stricter laws and regualtion for transport by authorities.

Traffic congestion prevails as one of the major problems faced by students, working people and every other individual that tends to travel. This writing comments on causes of traffic such as poor roads, accidents and the rising population. On the other hand , solutions like proper maintenance of roads, strict surveillance, use of public transportation may sound healthy to avoid traffic congestion.

As a consequence of improper roads, accidents occur. Both are the most common reason for traffic jams. Sometimes, bad weather condition also causes traffic jams. For example, due to heavy rain during September, Delhi was lined with vehicles on the roads for hours. However , the rising population cannot be left out here. The use of private vehicles has caused a lot more traffic jams than ever.

These conditions can be improved by giving road contracts to quality builders and repairing poor ones at a timely interval. Proper drainage facilities should be ensured so that the roads don’t flood during rainy seasons. Furthermore , people should start using public transport and should tend to share vehicles among their neighbours to reduce this severe issue. For instance, rules like carpooling, providing exclusive lanes for public transport wherein to develop an idea among the public, that they may reach sooner when public transport is used.

On the whole , traffic congestion seems to be a hectic problem in this century and needs to be reduced. Let us come forward to help our community by using public transportation. The sooner we reduce it, the sooner the situation is going to be better.

Many more people prefer to drive private vehicles. This caused traffic congestion all over the world. This issue will be discussed in this essay along with possible solutions. That may be implemented to alleviate this problem.

To begin with, one of the main reason with this traffic blockage is urbanization. Firstly, people moved from countryside to cities for better job opportunity and better life, so cities population are increasing day by day. people who works in cities are prefer to travel by their own vehicles instead of public transport. Additionally, they commute to their offices during peak hours each day. This could lead to traffic congestion. Secondly, another cause of traffic jam is poor construction of roads, improper design of infrastructure, broken traffic lights. because of that people usually take longer time to travel short distance. This all could creates traffic roadblock.

Even though, there are some steps can be taken to tackle this complication. More importantly, companies or industries should open their branches in to village side. so people no need to shift from hometown to cities. decentralization should take place. this could helps to prevent traffic jam. Also Government needs to create some basic rules and regulations that can strictly follow by citizens. this will also reduced traffic congestion. they should also maintain gridlock lights and separate lane for two wheelers and pedestrian to avoid traffic jam. moreover, reconstruct roads and use good quality of materials to built the roads, fixed the broken lights so people can easily travel to their destination within time.

To conclude, traffic jam becomes problem in metropolitan cities but if we take some measures to reduce this problem, this complication would be solved.

Nowadays, traffic jam has become a major concern in many big cities across the globe. This essay will first discuss the reasons behind this problem that are use of more personal vehicles and poor traffic management and then suggest possible measures such as use of public transport and proper strategic management which can be implemented to handle the situation.

One of the major reasons is that the ownership of private vehicles has increased in last two decades which leads to soaring number of automobiles on roads. Secondly, many big cities were not built with proper planning and also there are narrower roads and streets which create difficulty for people to commute. For instance, the old area of the capital city of Delhi is usually congested the whole day due to the absence of traffic lights and proper sign boards.

Certain measures which can be taken to deal with this situation are firstly, the government should increase the quality and frequency of public transport as it will attract more passengers and people should be encouraged to use car pool to work as much as they can during peak hours so that it decreases the no of vehicles on roads. For instance, the Delhi metro maintain continuous qualitative service and covers all major routes of the city, as a result many daily passengers like to commute through metro in the capital city. In addition, wide roads and bridges should be constructed through which traffic can move smoothly during peak hours. Furthermore, separate lanes should be constructed especially for bicycle and people should be encouraged to ride bicycles. For example, the government of Delhi have set up a goal to widened all the roads of the city and create separate lanes for bicycle by 2025.

In conclusion, it is obvious that people prefer personal vehicles due to the inappropriate traffic management and poor public transportation which leads to huge traffic congestions, but possible solutions could be implemented to reduce congestions on roads .

In this 21st century, science and technology have made life easy for human beings, but due to over utilization, the common obstacle is faced by almost every metro city which is the traffic jam. This essay will suggest that the main causes by this phenomenon are the migration of local community and easy access of private vehicles and then argue that development of the rural areas and utilization the public transport are the most viable solutions.

To begin with, the foremost problems caused by traffic congestion are that a group of people have moved from rural area to urban and individual are preferring to use own vehicle. Firstly, there are number of reasons lead to civilization for resettling in metro, such as find employment, earn degree from reputed school or university, and enjoy modern life-style. Secondly, it has became easy to keep personal transport options for everyone, in addition many have more than one for the pastime. For instance, Mumbai got the first rank for the most congested metro city in the world, where almost every one faces the issue of traffic, because of overcrowding who are influenced by way of life and making the money.

On the other hand, possible solutions to these problems would be increase the scope of living in the countryside and promote to use general transportation. Firstly, government have authority to take decisions, so they can focus on the development of the villages such as start the new factories so villager can find job at their own place, and open the schools and colleges so students can earn degree without leave their hometown. Secondly, ministry can make arrangement for locals to get easy transit from source to destination through their transportation, and promote some scheme to attract the passengers. For example, Delhi ministry has launched huge numbers of buses, and they declared transportation free of cost for the ladies and children, which has been getting most successful project for two years in the country.

To conclude, steaming the traffic congestion caused by lack of opportunities in the rural and wish to use own wheels, but possible solutions could be taken initiative by administration to improve the possibility for the villagers and encourage to society for use their public services.

Nowadays, an increasing number of people have chosen to live in large cities rather than rural areas, and this causes heavy traffic problem in major cities. In this essay, I am going to discuss the reasons behind this problem and examine possible ways to address it.

To begin with, there are two causes behind this problem. Firstly, overpopulation of large metropolitan areas and depopulation in the countryside is a major reason for this. Since there are few jobs in the villages, people move out to large cities and look for jobs that pay better salaries. In addition, another reason is commuting time as generally, people travel to their office at the same hours, around 8 to 9. This leads to public transportations such as metros and trains being fully packed leading to increased traffic congestion.

I believe that there are two possible ways to address such issues. The first solution is to enhance people moving to rural areas by enabling remote work option in domains wherever possible. In fact, if people are able to a find well-paid job in the countryside, around half of the city population would definitely move there and lowering personal or provincial taxes on rural area residents would make the migration faster, making it a cherry on top. Another solution is to vary commuting time, as the most remarkable traffic jam is caused by civilians on regular day jobs and varying office hours even by an hour will result in an ease in traffic jam during the peak hours.

To conclude, there are two causes which are overpopulation in large cities and daily commuting. To solve this problem, it is better to move to rural side along with varying commuting time which can result in a decreased headcount of large cities.

This leads to public transportations such as metros and trains being fully packed (ultimately,) leading to increased traffic congestion (on roads)

enhance (encourage) people moving

Traffic congestions is considered to be the most common problem especially while we are commuting in bigger cities. This essay will explain the major hurdles faced by people while travelling in the huge metropolis and the lack of infrastructure facilities in which the government needs to improve in that by finding valuable suggestions and recommendations.

The foremost problems faced by commuting in cities caused by parking issues are the people who park on wrong sides of the road as they need to go to the market purchase especially for household needs. As vehicles started to park on roads, this leads to the rise in traffic congestions. Furthermore, many people come from faraway places to visit these famous landmarks and often leads to these issues especially during festivals due to lack of proper planning. For example, Muhammed Ali Road in Mumbai often get jammed during Ramzan festivals as people park their vehicles improperly.

Possible solutions to these problems would be the addition of parking facilities which is closer to these markets so that parking on roadside be free movement for traffic. If people started to follow these rules, that would not cause problems to others. Furthermore, odd and even rules, garages, remote spaces thereby reduce the growth of snarl up in populated area. For example, Delhi city has introduced the smart parking system in one of their metro stations and had become very easier for people to utilise these facilities.

To conclude there are still facts in which parking woes can be solved. If the government and the people follow these observations on day to day basis, that helps further to get succeed.

In metropolitan cities, Traffic jam is the underlying vital issue that is experienced all the time. However, I believe that the increasing number of motor vehicles are highly responsible for these jams while the public transit is going through the worst conditions to tackle this situation. This essay will elucidate the root cause of increasing transportation block and the ways to mitigate these worsening conditions.

The most significant source of Traffic bottleneck is the increment in the population of motor wagon owners. In other words, The car drivers find it convention to travel by car, rather than worrying to follow the strict public transport time table despite the fact that they still have to wait in long automobile queue during rush hours. For Instance, back from work I do not have to plan my ride on public transport and can leave at a sometimes since the frequency of traffic at certain times are extremely high. Thus , the comfortable feature of a car is a boon for its owner but a curse for the hams in urbans areas.

The most prominent solution to tackle this challenge is pack and -ride-scheme. In this, people have to park their vehicle at the city outskirt while travelling to the remaining destination in the city via public transit which is quite affordable. In a survey, It had been recorded that this plan has been implemented in the north of Essex city which bolstered the drop in traffic by 10% will decrease while imposed on the south of the city. Therefore, this scheme proves to be an efficient remedy available to relieve the continuously increasing traffic.

In conclusion, the park of the car at the city fringes while using city amenities to reach the remaining destination seems a viable strategy to lessen the automobile drivers within the city. Ultimately, these steps can not only mitigate the out of hold situation but will also provide decrement in polluting bodies.

The car drivers find it convention (convenient) to travel by car,

can leave at a sometimes – incomplete ?

pack (park) and -ride-scheme.

Feedback : answer is well -written in terms of task achievement, lexical resources , cohesion. Great improvement.

Traffic congestion is one of the major issues faced by the metropolitian cities. There are many factors, such as under-constructed roads and the rise of number of vechiles on the roads, which contribute to this phenomenon. This essay will suggest that there are certain adaptable solutions which can reduce this issue, if not mitigate completely.

Traffic congestion is caused in metropolitian cities as they are overpopulated.People of rural areas migrate to cities because job oppurtunities are more compared to the place they live.Lots of people in the city own their private vechiles.People in city use the private vechiles to go to their regular jobs which makes the road overcrowded by the vechiles. For example in Los Angeles common misconceptions, people in Los Angeles love cars’ driving, which means the relation between people and their cars is very strong and described as love’s relation.Traffic congestion increased due to no underground railway and public transport in Los Angeles. The condition is further aggravated by issues of road design and poor maintenance in the urban areas, a manner of driving that treats other road users with little respect, erroneous information on traffic jams, and inefficient management by the responsible authorities.

Few steps shall be taken to reduce traffic congestion. It can be done by increasing industries in rural areas.Prefering to use public mode of transport rather than private mode of transport. The government should create some traffic rules for each driver and pedestrian as well to reduce congestion. In other words, by creating some basic rules and regulations and by strictly following these, this congestion can be reduced which is a huge issue for many large countries around the world.Roads and highways of most of the cities are not designed properly to accommodate all the vehicles on the streets, thus, the jam is created. Moreover, lanes should be maintained by the drivers and traffic polices should monitor these things on the streets.Another solution is to enforce green taxes on the vehicles which exhaust fumes that have stringent effects on the environment. If the passengers have to pay taxes, they will be encouraged to use public transports.

To conclude, as the jam is increasing on most of the cities all over the world, necessary steps should be taken by the governmental authorities to mitigate this. By maintaining these rules, many large countries can be freed from this issue.

number of vechiles (Vehicles) – spellings of vehicles throughout

Feedback: Answer is well- organized maintaining coherence and cohesion. But sentence structure definitely has room for improvement. Try to make lengthier sentences as it will result in formation of complex, compound sentences.

Nowadays, traffic jam has been a major concern across all the cities around the globe. This essay will discuss about the primary reason of people preferring their own vehicle for commuting

followed by lack of infrastructure and also suggest various measures to tackle the situation.

One of the major reasons is that the ownership of vehicles has increased over the past few years which has lead to the growing number of automobiles on roads. According to some reports, Chennai experienced one of the biggest traffic congestions in 2014 which lasted for more than 24 hours. Secondly, in many cities, the infrastructure has not been properly set up for public transport resulting in people opting for a private mode of transport over public transport. For example, Bangalore has narrow roads which cannot accommodate so many vehicles during peak hours. Thirdly, people do not follow traffic rules in order to reach their target destinations on time. For instance, people employed in the private sector usually prefer to travel on their own two-wheelers and tend to skip traffic signals to reach their office on time.

There are certain measures that can be taken to handle this kind of situation. Firstly, the government should increase the quality of public transport by providing frequent services. In addition to this, fares of government transportation should also be reduced so that everyone can afford it. Another measure is to construct widened roads and bridges such that traffic can move smoothly even during peak hours. Furthermore, separate cycle lanes should be constructed and people should be encouraged to ride bicycles in order to lead a healthy life. Finally, major city centres or key connecting roads of the city must be declared car-free and penalty charges should be imposed on those who do not follow the rules.

In conclusion, to mitigate the magnitude caused by rush-hour traffic, which is the main trigger of roadblocks, a flexible working mechanism and a shared transport scheme should be set up by the government in a reasonable manner at the earliest.

According to some reports, Chennai experienced one of the biggest traffic congestions in 2014 which lasted for more than 24 hours (it feels as example is incomplete , there was a jam but what was the reason?, by quoting reasons ultimately, you will discuss about the cause and hence there will be support to the cause mentioned)

There is room for improvement in lexical resources.

Traffic congestion is one of the most prominent issue faced by nearly all the big cities nowadays.

This essay will first suggest about the causes behind it and they are lack of it’s management by the police and longer trip durations and then argue that its effective control by the rules and regulaions of the government authorities and very wide roads contructions are the most viable solutions.

The foremost problems caused by mismanagement of it by police are that lot of time waste especially for people travelling to far off places.

And also nowadays as there are so many vehicles on the bigger cities,as a result it becomes quite hard for the police to manage the vehicles effectively for efficint continuos traffic flow.

Furthermore, also due to so many automobile’s long queues on these cities, some people often try to break the traffic rules and try to get to their destination faster which eventually sometimes lead to lot of road accidents.

Possible solutions to these causes would be to have skilled traffic police all over the big cities and automobiles proper management by the government authorities and construction of very wide roads.

If the higher govennment officials conduct proper trainings for the traffic police on how to manage the traffic effectively then we will notice a smooth movement of the automobiles in the bigger cities.

Furthermore, the central government also needs to plan on how to create the wide roads in the large cities for continuous movement of the vehicles.

To conclude, poor traffic management by the police and narrow roads in the bigger cities will lead to lengthy trip durations and maybe sometimes violation of traffic rules by some people which can lead to harsh road accidents but if the higher government people takes efficient steps to combat these problems, then there will always be continuous automobiles flow in these cities and people won’t be breaking the traffic rules anymore and will be able to reach their destinations very timely and comfortably.

With the extravagant lifestyle, one experiences living in a large metro city, there are also challenges such as dealing with day-to-day traffic congestion and spending hours of your morning waiting to reach your destination. The population that a city attracts each year is one of the prominent causes of the traffic issues. There are also some reasonable solutions such as increasing remote work opportunities that can help remediate these causes.

Every year, a large chunk of the population moves to a large city, in the hope of living a fast-paced lifestyle with access to all the major facilities, however, in most cases, these cities are not developed to deal with the increased migration demands and are often left with an old infrastructure resulting in cramped highways, crowed roads. This leads to one of the biggest problems that one faces in a city – traffic congestion. Career advancements, modern lifestyle, and educational institutions are some of the major reasons that pull people towards a major city. Additionally, it is no less than a dream for any grown adult to own their personal vehicle. However, this dream can be costly when it comes to living in a major city as a large population also means large vehicle consumption every day.

While it may seem that there are no practical solutions to traffic issues, it might not always be the case. There are many plausible examples across the globe where major cities reduced their traffic issues significantly with innovative planning. For instance, London started offering toll incentives for vehicles that promote carpooling – carrying more than one passenger. A survey proved this approach to be efficient as the traffic was reduced by 30% in the first month of the implementation and showed that people definitely valued discounts on heavy toll prices. Another successful example was seen in San Francisco, US, where many companies offered permanent work-from-home opportunities during the pandemic. The by-product of this perk also proved to be efficient in reducing the traffic significantly.

In conclusion, while the problems that arise from growing traffic in many major cities seem inevitable, there are also many practical approaches that when implemented with proper planning can definitely help overcome the issues. However, it is something that has to be thought upon carefully and planned according to the demands and needs specific to the city.

Additionally, it is no less than a dream for any grown adult to own their personal vehicle. However, this dream can be costly when it comes to living in a major city as a large population also means large vehicle consumption every day. (somehow this reason seems off the beat may be due to lack of valid explanation , but it certainly not in cohesion with the context given)

Traffic gridlock is one of the major issues faced by the developed cities. A multitude of factors, such as under-constructed routes and the rise of number of automobiles on the roads, contribute to this phenomenon. This essay will suggest that there are certain adaptable solutions which can mitigate this issue, if not eradicate completely.

Because of a large number of populace is attracted to metropolitan cities in search of livelihood every year, there is a sharp increase in the number of vehicles driven. As the cosmopolitan cities have humongous distances to cover, people prefer to travel in their personal conveyance. On top of this, poorly constructed and damaged roadways slows down the traffic flow, thereby creating bottlenecks at the intersections. For example, Los Angeles, one of the majorly developed cities in California, is considered to have the worst traffic in the entire United States because of the increasing population and ever going constructions.

While the problems are real, there are some uncomplicated methods, if adopted, can reduce the impact of the issue. Major corporations have allowed their employees to work remotely from the comforts of their home, which has resulted in slight reduction of traffic. With other companies adopting this policy, this effect can be compounded resulting in opening up of streets for a free flow of traffic. Furthermore, an upgraded infrastructure, like filling up the potholes and increasing the number of smooth lanes will allow the motor vehicles to run without slowing down. For example, Las Vegas, in the United States has seen a large number of people migrating. To tackle the increasing traffic, additional lanes has been added on freeways for smoother traffic flow.

To conclude, even though manifold reasons contribute towards traffic jams in urban areas such as migration of humans is search of a better life and unmanaged infrastructure, certain steps taken by corporations and government such as remote work for employees improving the infrastructure of the city can alleviate the problems.

At few places , there is need to avoid formation of shorter sentences instead try to use punctuation or conjunctions .

One of the major problem faced in most of the cities is traffic jam. According to me it is due to some of the reasons like poor infra structure, increase in number of private vehicles and rise in city population. So in this essay I am going to discuss some of the causes as well as solutions for this roadblock.

First of all, most of the city roads are planned and built many years ago according to then population. As a result the roadways are not in good condition to accommodate the increasing number of vehicles at present. Next, due to increase in number of loan facilities from finance companies or from banks people show more interest to buy either two-wheeler or four-wheeler according to their needs and desire to avoid much crowded public transport .Additionally, due to recent boom in IT sector people started migrating from villages to cities for their better job opportunities which in turn resulted in more settlements in cities.

Analyzing the causes, some steps can be taken from our side to reduce the congestion. People working in same company can share their vehicle and take turns to commute to their work place everyday. People can try to use public transport whenever possible. Individuals can go by walk or by two -wheeler to nearby places instead of using cars which occupies more space and fuel. Government authorities can try to extend the roadways wherever needed by converting two lane roads to four lanes. Making separate lanes for two wheelers will also try to reduce traffic jam to certain extent.

To conclude here, though traffic jam is the biggest problem in most of the cities but every problem has got a solution. By taking apt and necessary steps both by the authorities as well as by public it can be handled well.

problem solution essay about traffic jam

No More Traffic Jams

There is nothing worse than being trapped in your car, waiting in the middle of a traffic jam. It is frustrating, knowing that there is nothing you can do and that you are going to be late to work. Traffic jams often occur during rush hour or right after a large event because there are more cars on the road than normal. Traffic jams can also be caused by car accidents or road construction. They usually occur on major roads that many people use to travel to work or school. Traffic jams are a problem because they make people late for work or school, they can cause car accidents, and they are frustrating. How can we reduce the number of traffic jams? Possible solutions include carpooling or using public transportation. The best way to solve traffic jams is by using public transportation because it will be efficient, economical, and reliable.

First, using public transportation is efficient. A bus is a very efficient way to move lots of people from one place to another using only one vehicle. Instead of having one vehicle for each person on the road, busses take many cars off the road as people ride together. Trains are even more efficient at reducing the number of cars on the road. Because trains have their own dedicated rail system to get people around, all of the cars are eliminated without adding any more traffic to the roads. Not only are busses and trains more efficient at carrying passengers, but time spent on a bus or a train is more efficient for the passenger. This encourages more people to use public transportation. It is easy to see how efficient public transportation is and the impact that it has on reducing traffic.

Another reason that public transportation is the best solution to traffic jams is because it is so economical. People want to use public transportation instead of driving their own car because they can save money. Public transportation usually does not cost very much, especially for people who use it often. There are discounts for seniors and students, which makes it an even more economical way for these groups to travel around town. Using public transportation also eliminates the need to pay for parking, car insurance, and car maintenance, not to mention gasoline. All of the expenses related to owning a car are replaced with one simple fare. Because it is so economical, public transportation is a good solution to traffic jams by encouraging more people to travel together and reduce the number of cars on the road.

Finally, public transportation is the best solution because it is reliable. Many people set up carpools to reduce traffic, but this is only a temporary solution. Every time someone has a change in their schedule, the carpool needs to be adjusted. For example, if someone has to go to the doctor or sleeps in, the carpool will not work that day. If someone changes jobs or transfers to a new school, the carpool will need to be adjusted again. Public transportation, on the other hand, is more reliable. The bus and train schedules don’t change every time that one rider needs to go to the doctor. The schedules are set and people can plan on them. People who use public transportation will find that it is reliable and can help limit the number of cars on the road.

Because it is efficient, economical, and reliable, public transportation is the best way to reduce the number of traffic jams. There are other possible ways to address this problem, but using public transportation is clearly the best. Traffic jams during very busy hours on the road can be reduced and more people can get to work on time and avoid the frustration caused by sitting in the middle of a long line of cars. Cities and governments should consider ways to improve their public transportation system and encourage more people to use it. If they do, they will surely see fewer traffic jams on their roads and much happier drivers.
