IGNOU Extends Last Date To Submit Assignments For Term-End Exam June 2022; Check Details

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has further extended the last date for submitting assignment for the IGNOU Term-End Examination (TEE) June 2022 session. Learners can now submit their IGNOU TEE 2022 assignments, final project, dissertation, field work journals, and internship reports till July 20. Earlier, the last date to submit the TEE June 2022 exam assignment was June 30. The IGNOU June TEE 2022 assignment can be submitted through the official website-- ignou.ac.in .

“With the approval of the competent authority, the last date for submission of assignments (both in hard copy and soft copy), project reports, field work journals, dissertation and internship reports online as well as offline for the term-end examination, June 2022 for online programmes, GOAL (The Guyana Online Academy of Learning, Guyana) and ODL programmes has been further extended upto July 20, 2022,” the IGNOU said in a statement.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the dates of assignment and project submission from 30th of June to 20th July, 2022. According to an official tweet by the administration of IGNOU, it is said the university has decided to give relaxation to students who still haven’t submitted their project works, reports, dissertation and assignments for June Session TEE.

The complete details regarding the latest information on the extension of IGNOU assignment dates can be accessed using the official website of the varsity is ignou.ac.in. However, the dates of June TEE have already been announced. According to the date sheet of IGNOU, the examinations for TEE 2022 will commence on July 22 and will end on the 5th of September. It’s a great relaxation for the students who want to submit their assignments, project and dissertation reports for the June TEE examinations.

Candidates can easily submit the assignment using the official website of the varsity is ignou.ac.in. A separate online assignment submission link is provided there. However, they can also submit their projects and assignments through a hard copy (by visiting the IGNOU nearest regional centre ).

Assignments Submission Guidelines-June 2022 Session

The December, 2024 Term-end Examinations of the University for ODL & Online Programmes (Pen & Paper & CBT Mode) is likely to commence from 02 December, 2024 onwards. Online link for submission of the examination form (TEE, PROJECTS SUBMISSION & PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS) by the eligible students for December, 2024 Term-end Examination is also open along with the schedule and necessary instructions/guidelines thereof. The students may submit online examination form accordingly, by following the instructions and guidelines provided.

From January 2023 admission cycle onwards, the University has implemented the Project Evaluation Fees and Practical Examination Fees for having Project and Practical component of the Programmes. Accordingly SED has notified its Notification vide No. F.No.IG/SED/Practicals/Projects/2023/12295 dated 07.03.2023.

Prescribed Fee for Student admitted till December 2022 admission cycle

Exam/Practical/Project Fees from the January 2023 Admission Cycle onwards

ALLOTMENT OF THE EXAM CENTRE

September, 2024 to 15 October, 2024 (upto 6 PM) (Online)

Rs. 200/- per course. (Theory courses and practical/lab courses)

The will try to accommodate the students in the examination centre opted by them. (In case, the sitting at the centre has exhausted, student may choose the nearest/alternate exam centre under the jurisdiction of the same Regional Centre).

Point-9: They cannot copy their answer from any units/blocks given by the university. If you copied any answer then you will get zero marks for that copied question.

Point-10: Candidates have to write an assignment solution with their own help, if you copied any assignments from other students then your assignment will be rejected by the centre.

Point-11: Prepare or write each course assignment separately. Do not write all assignments in one set.

Point-12: Write each question before writing an answer so you don’t need to attach a question paper while submitting the assignment.

Point-13: After finishing the work of assignment writing, use a paper file and arrange all your assignments in a proper manner. ( Note: Plastic files will not be accepted by the university in any circumstances).

Point-14: Candidate must send their complete assignments to the coordinator of the allotted study centre. You cannot send it to any other IGNOU centre like Regional Centre, Evaluation Division, and Registration for evaluation.

IGNOU Assignment 2024: Submission Last date (May 31), Status, Marks

IGNOU follows a multi-tier system of evaluation including Assignments, Term End Examination, Project or Practical examination. Every IGNOU candidate has to write and submit their IGNOU assignments to the study centre before the due date. If anyone fails to do so then he/she cannot attend the Term End Exam conducted by IGNOU in the month of June and December.

How to Download IGNOU Assignment 2024?

The students can download the assignment papers by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the university at ignou.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Student Support’ option, then click on ‘Student Zone’.

Step 3: Click on the option ‘Assignments’ and you will be redirected to the question papers.

Step 4: Select your respective course and download the assignment papers.

Is it Compulsory to Submit IGNOU Assignment 2024?

Assignments carry a total number of 30% marks in the overall percentage of a candidate, thus, it is compulsory for every student to submit the assignments within the stipulated time. It will increase one’s performance report on the grade card. Without assignments, the course is incomplete and one must necessarily submit it. The students must score at least 40% marks to pass and thereafter for filling the exam form to appear in the Term End Examination (TEE).

Guidelines for Writing IGNOU Assignment 2024

Assignments constitute the continuous evaluation component of a course. They can be done in your home or workplace or library or any other place you think has the right environment.

It is important to write the answers in your own words. The university follows a strict “No Plagiarism” policy and it will not accept the assignments if plagiarised.
The study material provided to you is the best source to refer for writing answers.
The answers should be precise, well documented and relevant to the question. A reasonably adequate response can be presented within the required word limit.
Whenever you receive a set of assignments, check them immediately. If there are some missing or blank pages, contact your concerned Regional Director.
For your own record, retain a copy of all the answers to the assignments you submitted to the Coordinator of your Study Centre. It will help you in the future to prepare for Term End Examinations.

How to Submit IGNOU Assignment 2024?

IGNOU Assignments can be submitted through Online and Offline modes. The mode of submission for assignments varies based on the respective study centers. Students can check the mode of assignment submission by visiting the official website of their respective regional center. Students who have completed their assignments can check the step-by-step guide to submit their assignments via online or offline modes:

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Online Mode:

IGNOU assignments can be submitted online mode by filling out the Google form or sending an email to the respective study centers of their respective regional center. Step-by-Step process to submit IGNOU assignments through Google form or email is as follows:

Students can follow the steps given below to submit their IGNOU Assignment using Google Forms:

Visit the official website of IGNOU @ignou.ac.in.
Click on “Regional Network” on the menu bar and then click on “Regional Centers” from the drop-down menu.
Now Click on the “Regional Center’s Websites” and navigate to your respective regional center of IGNOU.
Now visit the official website of your selected regional center’s website and click on “News and Event” on the homepage of the RC’s official website
Now click on “Assignment Guidelines” or “Assignment Submission” where you’ll get the Google form link.
By clicking on the Google form link, a new Google form for assignment submission will be open in a new tab.
Now fill in all the important details such as name, enrolment number, subject code, and others.
Upload all the scanned copies of assignment in the PDF format (make sure the file size does not exceed 100 MB) and submit the form.

IGNOU Assignment Submission through Email:

IGNOU has started accepting assignments via email. This facility might not be available for all study centers of your respective regional centers. If the Google Form submission is not available or the quota is full, students can submit their assignments by sending an email to their respective regional centers. The step-by-step process to submit IGNOU assignments via email is as follows:

Find the official email address of your respective regional center through the official website of IGNOU under the “Regional Network” on the homepage.
Mention all the important details of the IGNOU Assignment Front Page such as enrolment number, program name, subject code, study center code/name, session, contact details, etc.
Attach all the scanned copies of your assignment in PDF format and send an email to your respective regional center.

After submitting the assignment via email, students will receive an acknowledgment email which might take a few hours. If you have still not received the email, check whether your study center is accepting through email or there’s a Google form link to submit the assignment. Students must note that many IGNOU Regional Centers are not sending acknowledgment emails so you don’t need to worry about it and keep checking the assignment submission status.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Through Offline Mode:

Students are required to visit their respective Study or Regional Centers to submit the assignments for their respective courses. It is necessary to submit the assignments before filling the Term End Examination form. Go through the following points to know more about the submission process for assignments:

Write your Enrollment Number, Name, Full Address, Signature, and Date on the top of the first page of your response sheet. It must look like this -

Read the assignments carefully and follow the instructions, if any, given along with the questions.
Go through the units on which the assignments are based. Note the important points related to the questions and rearrange them in a logical order and write a rough outline for your answer.
Use A4 size paper for writing your responses and tie all the pages carefully. Allow a margin on the left side and a few lines in between each answer. This will help the evaluator to write comments on the margin.
Do not print or type the answers and write the responses to assignments in your own handwriting.
You must answer each question separately on a separate set of papers. Write the question number carefully before answering.
The completed assignment must be submitted at the address communicated to you by the Regional Center or your program coordinator.
After submitting the assignment, get the duly signed acknowledgment slip from the Coordinator.

It is compulsory to submit the IGNOU Assignment 2024 before the term-end examinations.

IGNOU Assignment January 2022 – July 2022 – The IGNOU Assignment for the TEE session in December 2022 is available to see and download. Is it Compulsory to Submit IGNOU Assignment?

Yes, all candidates for the IGNOU must complete and turn in their assignments to the relevant study centre by the deadline. The IGNOU University would not allow a student to take the term end exam if they have not submitted. In order to create the best assignment sheet for submitting to their centre, candidates can also seek some assistance from IGNOU Solved Assignment.

IGNOU Assignment Weighted and Minimum Marks

Each IGNOU programme gives assignments a 30% weighting, thus candidates cannot ignore them. They must submit the best assignment answer in order to receive higher marks in the final grade, which also improves your performance report. Your course is not complete without assignments, so you must turn them in to pass.

You must receive 40% on your assignments to pass, and then you can fill out an IGNOU Exam Form to show up for the TEE Exam. For instance, if an assignment has a total grade of 100, students must receive at least 40 in order to pass.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Last Date for TEE Dec 2022

The Assignment for the December 2022 Term End Exam must be submitted by October 31, 2022 , at the latest. The deadline is only susceptible to modification upon an official statement from the IGNOU Head Office; otherwise, it is unaltered. After downloading the assignment question from this page, candidates are urged to validate the due date from their relevant IGNOU course because the final date may vary depending on the programme.

IGNOU Assignment Dec 2022 Last Date Extended – We would like to let all IGNOU candidates know that IGNOU has formally extended the deadline for submitting IGNOU assignments for the session ending in December 2022 from September 30 to October 31. Candidates are urged to turn in their assignments as soon as possible, without waiting for the subsequent assignment submission extension period. The study centre will accept assignments up until the specified deadline only. The deadline is still a long way off, giving you plenty of time to complete all of your tasks before then and submit them without any problems.

Which Session Assignment to be submitted?

Here is the solution to the problem that many students have regarding which assignments should be turned in for the term end exam in December 2022. To take the December 2022 TEE Exam, candidates from all programmes need just submit their assignment from the 2022 session. If the assignments for the January and July 2022 sessions are available for your programme, submit a new assignment to the IGNOU Study Center rather than the previous one.

A student may submit a second year or second semester assignment to IGNOU SCs if they have already submitted a first year or first semester assignment for the session running from July 2021 to January 2022.
